Fifth Language School "Joan Exarch" – Varna was founded in 1956 as a fifth high school. This year the school celebrates half-century anniversary.

Since 1994 the school has the status of the language school to study English, German and French, and named Fifth Language School "Joan Exarch". We learn in high school over 930 students, taught by 71 teachers. Besides the diploma for completed language school, French students from classes complete with validation French language diploma, and students of German classes is the opportunity for training and examinations to obtain a German language diploma. Many high school students a second language equivalent to the first and graduates with sound knowledge of two foreign languages.

Teachers College has high professional qualifications. Teachers of foreign languages are studied in England, Austria, Germany and France. The school and teachers teach foreigners from Germany and France.

In 1998 and 2002 Fifth Language School was awarded with the "Varna" for "teaching team of the year" for secondary schools. In 2002. Dr. Veit Zorge, high school teacher, was awarded the same prize as a "teacher of the year foreign language".

Traditional high school students participate in competitions and win scholarships for training in the U.S., England and Germany.

Regular participation in contests and competitions at regional and national level in foreign languages, philosophy, mathematics, literature, biology, mathematical linguistics, computer science, sport, ever wear awards and medals for our students.

In recent years, paying particular attention to the assimilation of new information technologies. School has a strong IT base (3 computer labs), networking, and 24-hour Internet access. Computer networking careers have taken off - they're projected to grow by 30% from 2008 to 2018.

The school is working on several international projects, as I * EARN, "Schools Online", "Comenius", "Sueddeutsche Zeitung" projects under the European educational program "Socrates" History Project under the auspices of the Federal President of Germany, Bavarian project "Forests" . Participation in these projects enables high school students to perform research, to establish contacts with their peers from many countries to participate in various workshops at home and abroad. Students could start working online for auto insurance companies and marketing companies after they learn good English. Learning a new language is all about increasing your opportunities.

Work on these and other projects and their inclusion in the learning process, given in 2003 under the European Commission Education and Culture presented to the Fifth Language School European Label for innovative methods of teaching foreign languages. So Fifth Language School became the first Bulgarian school honored with this prestigious award.

This course will ensure that you get a program tailored to your individual requirements. The program we offer in 30 different countries. You can choose between 10, 15, 20, 25 or 30 hours of private lessons per week and between the four types of programs: a standard program with one or two students, a program for executives and business language (not available everywhere), residence and occupation without the special program Cairo (Arabic and Golf, Tennis, and Arabic).
