Charity concert of classical music "A New Era of Mercy".



At the State House actor held a charity concert of classical music "A new era of Mercy", devoted to 20th anniversary of St. Dimitry Sisterhood of the Orthodox service, and "Mercy." Large Symphony Orchestra. PI Tchaikovsky is the third time gave a charity concert in support of the church social projects.

Fedoseyev not the first time involved in charitable deeds. In 2006-2007. the blessing of His Holiness Patriarch Alexy II, the whole season was dedicated to the BSO charity event "The Road to Mercy." The musicians held a series of concerts for patients and staff of the Central Clinical Hospital of St. Alexis. At the expense of the hospital was transferred funds from other performances of the orchestra.

The upcoming charity concert Grand Symphony Orchestra was named "A New Era of Mercy." This is no accident. This year, St. Dimitry Sisterhood, as well as the Orthodox service of "Mercy" celebrate the 20th anniversary of its founding. The program "New Era of Mercy" Fedoseyev included all the familiar tunes, GV Sviridov from the movie "The Snowstorm" ("Three", "Wedding", "Waltz"), two "Hungarian Dance" by J. Brahms, which will overlap with the two "Slavonic Dances," written by Czech composer Antonin Dvorak. It is noteworthy that the Czech composer wrote this work, wanting to create something like "Hungarian Dances" by Brahms.

Decoration of the evening will be a famous concert IS Bach for Two Violins and Strings in D minor Symphony and the number 4 PI Tchaikovsky.

All fees from the concert will be given to the needs of wards of the Orthodox service "Mercy", which now comprises 11 social projects, including two children's homes, an almshouse, the service department, service for single patient in Moscow hospitals, service Homeless Assistance, the bus' Charity "school for many children and poor families.

The concert will be held March 16, 2012 at the State House actor.
